About Kairos Mission Trips

Kairos Mission Trips are summer missionary adventures that bring high school students and adults from North America into environments of need and challenge locally and abroad. These trips are eye opening, spiritually formative, and character-building.

About Detroit Mission Trips

It has been years since we did a girls mission trip to Detroit - so this is basically a new trip! The all-women staff team is Molly Kilpatrick (Michigan), Elisha Miranda (California), and Maeve Buganiski (New Jersey).

We will spend 8 days serving in and learning about God's heart for the city & people of Detroit.

The goals of the girls mission trip are:

1) Build relationships

2) Learn to pray

3) Become more servant-hearted

4) Encounter hardship.

We accomplish these goals through daily household life, pray, service, and adventure together.

Questions? Please reach out to Molly Kilpatrick:

Deadline to sign up is Saturday, April 4.

Frequently Asked Questions for Agua Prieta Trips

How does transportation work?
You will be responsible for getting to Tucson, AZ. From there we will rent a few big vans and drive to Agua Prieta. These vans will be used for our on-site transportation needs and driven by our senior staff.

What do I bring?
Once you’re accepted, we’ll send you an extensive list.

Should I get shots before I go? Other medical concerns.
Your safety is very important to us; we do our best to keep you, your food, and your water safe. However, we do recommend talking to your doctor about what shots and immunizations you should receive. We want you on mission, not on the pot!

What kind of service will we be doing?
We’ll do all sorts of service, but our main project will be building a house for a needy family.

I can’t go on a mission trip but I want to help…
The cost of construction materials for each trip is a few thousand dollars – this includes things like concrete, rebar, windows, and paint. Ever year, we ask individuals to “sponsor a trip”: covering the material costs for our work. If you are able to help in this way, please contact us!

Where can I get more information?
